Urupelma peruvianum 3/4”size 3 4 A terrestrial species from the highland areas of Huadquia and Tincochaca in Cusco Peru. This species reaches about 4 inches as adults and can be found living under rocks in its natural environment. This spider has a long complicated taxonomic history. Originally described Hemirrhagus peruvianus in 1916 by Ralph Vary Chamberlin. Then in 2003 Fernando Prez Miles & Arturo Locht transferred this spider to the Homoeomma genus. Fast forward to 2023
