Fáilte Isteach, the Fastnet Lighthouse, Co. CorkThe door of the Fastnet Lighthouse was built without an external lock. When the tower was completed in 1904, no one imagined it would ever stand empty. There would always be a keeper inside to open it. Neely O'Reilly, the lighthouse attendant, suggested this photograph on my first visit to the Rock.
